Records
The English Premier League was founded in 1992 and in its 26 seasons there have been a host of different records, across a range of disciplines. Some have been in place for a long time, while others were broken as part of Manchester City's record-breaking 2017-18 campaign.
WHICH TEAM HAS WON MOST PREMIER LEAGUE TITLES?
Manchester United have won 13 Premier League titles, their most recent in 2012/13. They won three consecutive titles on two occasions (1998-99, 99-00, 01 & 2006-07, 07-08, 08-09)
WHICH TEAM HAS WON THE MOST AND LEAST POINTS IN A PREMIER LEAGUE SEASON?
Manchester City in 2017-18 became the first team to break the 100 points barrier. Derby County hold the dubious accolade of having collected the lowest points total ever, winning just 11 in their ill-fated 2007-08 campaign.
Manchester United hold two interesting records - the lowest points total in a season necessary in order to win the league (75 in 1996-97) and also the most points without winning the league (89 in 2011-12), when Sergio Aguero's last minute goal denied them the title.
WIN/LOSS RECORDS
Once again, Manchester City and Derby County dominate at opposite ends of the win/loss records for an entire season. City recorded 32 wins in the 2017-18 season, which included the most consecutive wins, 18, between August and December 2017.
Derby meanwhile managed just a single victory in 2007-08 and they went an astonishing 32 games without a win during the same season.
As far as the longest unbeaten run, you'll probably be familiar with Arsenal's 49 consecutive games without loss from May 2003 until October 2004, a run which included the most consecutive away games undefeated of 27.
Chelsea hold the impressive run of 86 home matches undefeated from March 2004 until October 2008.
GOALS
Note - the Premier League had 22 teams and therefore 42 games until the league was restructured at the end of the 1994-95 season.
